Diamonds of the North Showcase Scholarship Tournament
The Indiana Amateur Softball Association (ASA) is hosting the Diamonds of North Showcase Scholarship Tournament in the Northwest Indiana area. This tournament is sponsored by Mizuno Sports in conjunction with Blythe’s Athletics.
All division winners registered with Indiana ASA will have a direct berth to the ASA Northern National Championship. Non-Indiana teams may enter, but only Indiana registered teams are eligible for the berth.
Tournaments will be held in Girls’ Fast Pitch: 14 & Under; 16 & Under; and 18 & Under.
There will be a $500 scholarship awarded to one 16-Under player and one 18-Under player.
The events will be held June 13-15, 2008. All games will be played at Imagination Glen Park and Fessler Fields (at Haven Hollow Park) in Portage, Indiana.
All divisions will play a five-game guarantee tournament, four pool games followed by a single-elimination bracket.
Fees: $395 per team
