Diamonds of the South

Indiana Amateur Softball Association (ASA) is hosting this annual qualifying event in the Southern Indiana. This will give Indiana teams an additional chance to win a berth to the USA/ASA National Championships.

Tournaments will be held in Girls’ Fast Pitch: 8-Under Coach Pitch; 10-Under Divisions; 12-Under Divisions; 14 & Under A & B Divisions; 16 & Under A & B Divisions and 18 & Under A Divisions. 

The events will be held June 18-20, 2010.

All fast-pitch divisions will play a four game guarantee tournament. Two pool games followed by a double elimination bracket. Coach Pitch 8-Under will play a three-game guarantee bracket.

All Fast Pitch division winners registered with Indiana ASA except the 8 & Under Coach Pitch will have a direct berth to the USA/ASA National Championships or the ASA Northern National Championship. (Teams are permitted to choose which national tournament they wish to attend.)  

DEADLINE FOR THE DIAMONDS OF THE SOUTH IS JUNE 4, 2010.

Fees:

  • $175 8-Under Coach Pitch; Slow Pitch
  • $400 for Fast Pitch.
